This is a great fast way to have fried or baked chicken that is crispy on the outside and moist and tender on the inside.

You can use organic chicken or chicken for your favorite store. Just make sure you always wash packaged meats.

 

Fast Fried Chicken

 

Chicken tenders or chicken pieces (at least 2 to 3 pieces per person)

2 cans chicken broth

2 cups flour (gluten free, plain, or self rising, your choice)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 Tablespoon garlic powder, favorite herbs (Italian, curry, cumin, your choice)

1 Heaping Tablespoon Brown sugar

 Cooking oil deep enough to fry chicken in. (can be vegetable, olive or choice.)

 

Put the flour and the garlic, favorite herbs, salt and pepper, and brown sugar into a 1 gallon plastic bag.  Shake until well mixed.  Set aside.

 

Into the 2 cans of chicken broth that has come to a boil, add the raw chicken, bring to another boil and cut the fire to medium. Cook until Chicken reaches a temperature of at least 150 degrees. Chicken will cook more when fried or baked to an internal degree of 160.  Take cooked chicken out of broth and place on a napkin or paper towel to drain.

 

Add the chicken to the bag and shake until every piece is coated.  Set aside until oil gets hot.

(Or place chicken on baking pan until brown about 10 minutes in a 375 degree oven. (Turn once)

Place the chicken into the hot oil to fry and turn once to brown on both sides. It will take less than 5 minutes to brown. Remove from oil and drain.

 

****Special note. The brown sugar is my secret ingredient and everyone raves about the unique taste.
