1 Envelope unflavored gelatin

1/3 cup cold water

½ cup sugar

2/3 cup light corn syrup

½ teaspoon vanilla extract.

Equal parts of corn starch and sugar.

Soften gelatin in cold water and dissolve over low heat. Add sugar and stir until dissolved. Put this mixture into large mixing bowl with corn syrup and vanilla extract. Beat at high speed for 15 minutes or until mixture is very thick and of marshmallow consistency. Cover bottom of pan with equal amounts of sugar and cornstarch (9x9x2 Pan) Pour in mixture and smooth top.

Let stand in cool spot for one hour or until set. Loosen from pan and turn out on board sprinkled with equal amounts of sugar and cornstarch. Cut into squares with knife wet with cold water. Roll in cornstarch and sugar mixture.
